Large hand screenprinted one of a kind original print on linen, the process of printing this stretched line involved printing some of the shapes, then washing the print, which created the ghost effect, then continuing to print over the top of the ghost print to create the final piece.
Framed size 1152mm x 1152mm square, this piece is presented in a limed white natural Ayous timber frame. These large screen prints take a while to make, they start with cut paper stencil shapes and are printed in layers. The new shapes created via overlaying a transparent colour over another invite a response to either change or leave as is. The shapes then either become a third colour or opaque and solid, in either matt or semi gloss.
