The last two years have been very busy and purposeful. It all began with Instagram and walks in the landscape with my phone camera primed and ready to capture the exciting vision of Spring emerging around me. It had already been a tough year with my father’s death and the need to support mum more. So in an extra effort to be around for her I booked myself onto a course in my old hometown and went off to stay with mum for a week. I prepared for the course in part using these images chopped up and refashioned in Instagram plus some drawing and working with cut and folded paper and set about immersing myself in the world of screen printing onto textiles.
